Getting to the University of Northampton’s Waterside Campus for the UnderOne Festival
Park and Ride
The most convenient way to reach the University for the UnderOne Festival is by using the Park and Ride system, located on the west side of Northampton. The car park is easily accessible from M1 junctions 15a and 16, and the journey to the University takes approximately 15 minutes on average (covering a distance of about 2.3 miles).
Travelling by Car
The nearest car parks to our campus for the UnderOne Festival are St John’s Car Park (NN1 1HA) and Midsummer Meadows Car Park (NN1 5NX). Both are within walking distance (5-10 minutes) of the campus and are pay-and-display car parks. Prices can be checked via the Council website.

Blue Badge Parking
Spaces for blue badge holders are available at Waterside Campus for the UnderOne Festival. If you require an accessible car parking space, please contact us.
Travelling by Taxi
If you opt for a taxi for the UnderOne Festival, simply instruct your driver to drop you off at Waterside Campus. Taxi drop-off laybys are available at both the east and west sides of campus.

Travelling by Bus or Coach
The University’s Stagecoach bus services links Waterside Campus with the Northampton train and bus at Scholars Green Student Village, and various destinations throughout the town.
Stagecoach and other bus operators offer services for a variety of routes in and around Northampton, Daventry, Rushden, Kettering, and Wellingborough from Northampton bus station.

You can enjoy a pleasant walk to campus for the UnderOne Festival via our footbridge, which connects with Becket’s Park. The walk from the town centre to campus takes approximately 5-10 minutes.
