Alex Manners is 27, an Autism and Neurodiversity speaker, Asperger’s champion, presenter and author. He was diagnosed with Asperger’s at the age of 10 and looks upon it as something positive and that he feels lucky to have been able to manage over the past 27 years.
Alex has talked about his Asperger’s many times on radio and television, published a book called “That’s Not Right! My Life Living with Asperger’s” and featured on series 10 & 11 of “The Undateables” on Channel 4. For two years, he presented his very own children’s radio show and filmed all the home matches for his local football club, Solihull Moors, for BT Sport. His love of football has led Alex to start his own “Autism & Football” campaign to enhance the experience of Autistic people at football matches.
He now has his own business, presenting talks on his life living with Asperger’s to educate and inspire as many people as he can. Alex has spoken to many different companies, law firms, NHS Trusts and universities all over the UK and the world, including Coca-Cola, Linklaters, Shell Energy and Lloyds Banking Group.
